[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When booking your ski holiday to Zermatt, there are a host of fantastic hotels to choose from. Zermatt is not huge or too hard to find your way around however it is a car free village so it is worth bearing in mind the location of your accommodation from the slopes and bard etc.<\/p>\n

There are some great hotel choices that avoid walking too much in ski boots with skis on your shoulder, and closeby to the shops, and the restaurants.<\/p>\n

If you like to stay close to the ski lifts, booking somewhere around the Sunnega lift station is a superb location, especially for beginners to start at.<\/p>\n

Hotel Cervo<\/a> is directly located at the bottom of the red slope from Sunnega and provides a wonderful boutique hotel to stay at.<\/p>\n

Other options amongst many others are Hotel National<\/a>, Wellness Hotel Alpenhof<\/a>, Hotel Mama Zermatt,<\/a> Hotel Sch\u00f6negg<\/a> or Christiania<\/a>. All of these hotels are just a few steps from the Sunnega lift station.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”24871″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Another lift station on the other side of Zermatt is the Matterhorn Express and there are even more hotels for you to choose from here.<\/p>\n

Some we love are Hotel Matterhorn Focus<\/a>, Ari Resort Apartments<\/a>, Hotel Firefly<\/a> or on the lower street, Hotel Coeur des Alpes<\/a> or 22 Summits<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you prefer to stay in the town centre, where the most convenient method to the lifts is by taxi, have a look at these wonderful 5 star hotels – Zermatterhof<\/a> and Mont Cervin Palace<\/a>, Hotel Monte Rosa<\/a> or Hotel Schweizerhof<\/a> which are directly on the Bahnhofstrasse (the main street).<\/p>\n

Alternative options are the Backstage Hotel<\/a>, Le Petite Cervin<\/a> or Hotel Alex.<\/a><\/p>\n

If you are happy a little bit further away from the centre but still in a lovely location, Boutique Hotel Matthioll<\/a> is worth a look too.<\/p>\n

For those who are looking for high-end accommodation and service, check out the numerous chalets which are available in Zermatt. Some of them are located above the town and offer the best views of the Matterhorn.<\/p>\n
