Located at 2200m, at the top of the Videmanette gondola, this restaurant enjoys some of the best views in the region from its large outdoor seating area. A great place to take a break after exploring the Rougemont area, before skiing back to Gstaad.
Snoasis sits right next to the top of the Eggli Gondola. It has limited indoor seating but plenty of space outside making it a good place to stop for a drink or snack – try the Raclette fries!
A traditional Alpine chalet located in the centre of the ski area, right on the border of the Swiss-German speaking Canton of Bern and French speaking Vaud. Here you can fill up on generous portions of local specialties such as Rösti and homemade sausages. The restaurant is nestled in a sheltered valley, making it possible to sit outside comfortably for much of the season. Note: this restaurant is CASH ONLY
This restaurant specialises in Italian dishes and wood-fired pizzas (some say the best in Gstaad!) It is conveniently located at the foot of the Eggli Gondola, just a short walk from Gstaad town centre, making it a great meeting place for parties with skiers and non-skiers to meet up.
Found next to the top station of the Saanersloch Gondola. This is a large self-service restaurant, ideal for grabbing a quick lunch on the mountain. On good weather days it boasts panoramic views of the area with plenty of outdoor seating – including deck chairs for when you want to top up the goggle tan!
A restaurant and bar with a relaxed atmosphere serving up good quality burgers, Rösti and other regional specialities. Its large sun deck overlooks the Schönried beginners area making it the ideal place to grab a drink while keeping an eye on the kids.
The place to go if you want to take your time to enjoy a delicious lunch. It is found between Saanenmöser Train Station and the bottom of the Saanersloch Gondola, making it very accessible for skiers and those on foot.
Traditional restaurant at one of the higher points in the ski area with stunning views into Gstaad’s valleys. If you are looking to get your cheese fix, try the Käseschnitte – Swtizerland’s luxury version of cheese on toast.
For something a little different head to the Iglu Dorf. Situated near the top station of the Saanersloch gondola this bar and restaurant is constructed entirely out of ice and snow.
