Ski and Snowboard Lessons in Verbier

Jordi was very knowledgeable about the resort and carefully structured each lesson around my ability. By the end of my 1:1 tuition I was able to complete the black and red piste, which exceeded my expectations.

Jordi is a highly skilled and dedicated coach and I couldn't recommend more.

Mike was brilliant in his explanations and really helped build confidence on the slopes across differing conditions. Mattheus provided challenging and fun routes for our more advanced skiers, whilst honing their technique further. Altitude elevated our ski holiday entirely and we even booked a further lesson that week. Highly recommended for all skiers visiting.

Their teachers are not only professional and incredibly prepared but also very kind and understanding. We never had a bad episode and I feel very relaxed knowing they are safely skiing with Altitude. After that... read more trip, I had booked over 100 hours with the same coach through the ski school until now. Wish I could be back there soon.

Brilliant coaches with Sammy and Alex leading the training program catering for all and they really developed my skiing... read more well beyond what I originally expected for taking the BASI level 3 exams at the end of the season. My instructor was Laura Heath and she was amazing. I was very nervous but Laura took lots of time to put me at ease and help me relax. Having never put a pair of skis on previously I was doing blue runs by the end of the holiday. Laura was knowledgeable about the resort and the right runs for me to try. The groups were very small and well matched. I would recommend Altitude and especially Laura to anyone wanting to either learn to ski or improve their skiing.

A few years later I returned with my son so that he could learn to ski and we have booked lessons twice a year with Altitude ever since. Adam Russell has been teaching us both since the outset and is a highly skilled and dedicated instructor. I started to learn how to ski in my 40’s mainly to accompany my young son at the time and despite being a very nervous skier, Adam has always been extremely conscientious and keen to help me overcome my fears. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him and as a very highly skilled instructor, who also teaches new instructors, he is well suited to teach all levels of skill from newbies to advanced levels. If you’re looking for a ski school in the Alps, Altitude Ski School is the absolutely the perfect choice.
