We have just got back to the UK after a wonderful week in Verbier and have been reflecting on the various highs with our children. Both Alfie and Jemima have not stopped raving about Harry Steel who took them for a series of individual lessons. Harry is a class act - we could not have asked for more. Game playing, jokes, filming the children at the snow park and with a real gift of encouragement. Please pass on our genuine thanks - both children’s skiing has progressed phenomenally in terms of confidence and style. Please pass on a big hello and a thank you to Harry!

Myself and my wife just got back from 7 days in Verbier and had 5 days with your instructor Woody. He was so helpful it's hard to list all of the things he did for us but to name a few:He noticed that my skis hadn't been set up properly and talked to the guys in the rental shop about adjusting them. He showed us where the lockers were located for our ski equipment, when we went to the wrong place. He also helped guide us around verbier to the best restaurants and Bars. He even rescued my wifes handbag (and passport) after she left it in a restaurant in Le chable late Friday night returning it to us in verbier in time for our trip home. All in all it is safe to say he really made our holiday and he made paying for our lessons with you worth every penny!Yours sincerely Robin and Natalie Wright .

In the Four Vallées, the answer is pretty far! In fact, for advanced skiers it’s possible to get from Verbier to the bottom of both Nendaz and Thyon comfortably in a day.

Perfect age to start skiing

This is always a tough question and unfortunately there is no perfect answer as it is dependent on both the child and the parents.
