Forget the times that people have told you that you can’t achieve your dreams as Altitude Ski School is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for the dream job role of ‘Ski Slope Tester!’
The ski season is just beginning, and we have many more months ahead of us of spectacular snow and picture perfect pistes for people to enjoy.
But we need someone to test out our slopes to let us know how we’re doing!
The ideal candidate must have a passion for beautiful scenery, be happy to chuck on a pair of skis, and it certainly helps to love Swiss cheese and chocolate, although maybe not together!
The winner will be skiing down a huge array of ski pistes to test the quality of the snow, the variety of routes and of course, how fast you can ski down them!
But what will you be reviewing?
The winner will have 8 ski schools to choose from; Verbier, Zermatt, Grindelwald, Wengen, Megeve, Klosters, Davosand Gstaad.
Verbier is famed for its vast skiing areas, boasting 410km of pistes extending across four beautiful valleys, with a good variety of slopes to test all skill levels. There are sunny nursery slopes to help you pick up the basics, so that you’ll be ready to tackle the more challenging runs.
Sitting in the shadow of the infamous Matterhorn, Zermatt is an incredible place to hit the slopes. Car-free, it’s truly an escape from the everyday, with skiing 365 days a year thanks to its glaciated terrain. With a lively apres scene and plenty to do in the town!
Part of the Jungfrau Ski Region comprising the villages of Grindelwald, Wengen & Mürren, you are able to access over 200km of slopes in three distinct ski areas. The Skyline park is a popular choice for freestylers as well, with a range of elements for everyone.
Wengen offers a good mixture of terrain, ideally suited for intermediates but with good options for beginner progression and some challenges for advanced skiers, including the world famous Lauberhorn downhill slope, the longest on the World Cup circuit.
However, we’re afraid to say that no bonuses will be awarded for any cool ski stunts you may have hidden up your sleeve, but who’s to say we won’t have an opening for ‘Ski Stunt Specialist’ next year?
If you think this job sounds like something you’d be good at, get in touch.
All you need to do is fill in the entrance form below on our website to be in with a chance of landing the dream job role.
Good luck!
